National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week occurs annually in the third week of September. This year, NPAW is Sept. 21-25, 2026.

Thank a Postdoc

We are celebrating more than 500 research postdoctoral associates and fellows at ÌÇÐÄlogo. Take a moment to acknowledge their contributions and accomplishments. Here are a few ways to thank a postdoc!

  2. Send a personal note of thanks and give a small token of appreciation.
  3. Nominate them for awards.
  4. Create opportunities to introduce them to colleagues in the field.
  5. Leave a recommendation or kudos on their LinkedIn page.

Kudoboard for Postdocs

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is hosting a Kudoboard for faculty, staff, students, and postdocs to post messages and images of appreciation for research postdoctoral associates and fellows at ÌÇÐÄlogo. The  is open for contributions and will close on Sept. 23, 2026. The final Kudoboard will be shared during NPAW.
